Math Olympiad: At EMS, we provide a stimulating opportunity for our Year 5 and 6 students who have a genuine passion for mathematical problem-solving through our participation in the international Math Olympiad competition. This program offers a challenging and enriching experience for mathematically inclined students to hone their skills and engage with complex problems beyond the regular curriculum.
Education Beyond the Classroom
Extra Curricular Activities
Lego Robotics: EMS offers Lego Robotics as part of its extracurricular activities. This program provides students with a hands-on and engaging way to learn about science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEM) concepts through building and programming Lego robots. It’s a fantastic opportunity for them to develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills in a fun and interactive environment.
Field Trips
Throughout the academic year, our students benefit from a diverse range of field trips designed to enrich their learning beyond the classroom. These carefully planned excursions offer a balanced blend of cultural immersion, educational exploration, and engaging entertainment, ensuring a well-rounded and memorable learning experience for all.

School Sports
As well as our Physical Education Curriculum, our school is proud to offer a dynamic sports program that emphasises skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship across all age groups.
QPPSSA: In primary school, our young athletes participate in the Qatar Private Primary School Sports Association (QPPSSA) league, where they compete with other private schools across a range of sports, such football, basketball, indoor and outdoor athletics, cross country, tag rugby, badminton, building foundational skills and a love for physical activity. Our program nurtures talent, promotes health, and instils a sense of community and achievement in every student.
Al Khor Sports Competitions: In addition to our in-school sports programs, our students benefit from opportunities to participate in local sports competitions with other schools based here in Al Wakrah. These competitions, some of which we organize ourselves and others hosted by our neighbouring schools, provide valuable experiences for our students to showcase their athletic abilities, develop teamwork skills, and foster a spirit of healthy competition within our local community.
