Our Year 4 students have been diving deep into the topics of community, belonging, and how they can make a real difference in the world in theβWhere Do We Belong?β unit! To bring these themes to life, we were thrilled to welcome a very special guest.
We had the honour of hosting Ms. Banan Massoud from Education Above All (EAA), who shared the inspiring work this global foundation does to support vulnerable children and families. Ms. Banan explained how EAA works to provide quality education to children in the world’s most challenging circumstances, turning classrooms into beacons of hope and opportunity.
Our students were captivated during the engaging presentation and a lively Q&A session. They discovered the powerful reality that access to education is a gift and that their own voices and actions, no matter how small, can contribute to a better world. The session sparked thoughtful questions about how they can be a force for good, right from their own community.
The visit served as a powerful reminder of our own blessings and the transformative importance of education. It perfectly connected our classroom learning to the wider world, inspiring our young learners by showing them that they too can play an active role in creating positive change for our global community.
Thank you, Ms. Banan and Education Above All, for a truly inspiring and unforgettable experience!
