Our Year 3 students recently embarked on a fascinating journey into the past as part of their “Our School’s History” topic. They were granted the special opportunity to sit down for an exclusive interview with Ms. Aisha El-Sayed, the esteemed Head of School of EMS Al-Khor.

This interactive session brought the school’s history to life in a way no textbook could. The students, having prepared thoughtfully, asked a series of insightful questions designed to uncover the story of our school’s evolution over the past decade. Their curiosity spanned a wide range of topics, from the foundational years, inquiring about the very first head of EMS Al-Khor, to the physical growth of the campus and how the student body has expanded over time.

The discussion delved into the heart of the school experience: learning itself. The students were keen to understand how teaching methods and classroom resources have transformed. They even explored the more tangible aspects of our history, questioning whether the school uniform has seen any changes since the school was first established.

Ms. Aisha graciously shared her wealth of knowledge and personal insights, painting a vivid picture of the school’s journey. She highlighted the remarkable progress made in education, noting to the students that “learning at the school today is more fun and easily applicable to real life!” This powerful observation underscored the dynamic nature of education at EMS Al-Khor, where we continuously adapt to provide engaging and relevant learning experiences.

The interview was more than just a question-and-answer session; it was a meaningful connection between the newest members of our community and the legacy they are a part of. It was a wonderful moment for our students to appreciate our shared past and to see, firsthand, how far we have come together as a school community. This experience undoubtedly fostered a deeper sense of belonging and pride in being part of the ongoing story of EMS Al-Khor.
